Modeli Research Consultants ("MRC," "we," "us") operates modeliresearch.com. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us:
- Contact and consultation requests: your name, email, phone number, organization, role, the services you're interested in, preferred meeting times and anything you write in your message.
- Newsletter sign-ups: your name, work email and, if you provide it, your organization.
- Client resource library accounts: your name, email and password. Accounts are created by invitation for MRC clients.
Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver and secure the site.
Please don't send protected health information
Our forms are not designed to receive protected health information, study subject data or confidential sponsor information. Please don't include it in a message. If we need that kind of information for an engagement, we will arrange a secure way to receive it under a written agreement.
How we use your information
- To respond to your questions and schedule consultations.
- To prepare proposals and provide the services you request.
- To send the MRC newsletter and updates, if you signed up for them.
- To give clients access to the resource library and keep accounts secure.
- To maintain, protect and improve this website.
We don't sell your information
We never sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run this website and communicate with you, and only as needed for that purpose:
- Netlify hosts this website and processes form submissions and resource library logins.
- HubSpot manages our newsletter list and email communications.
- Google Fonts delivers the typeface used on this site, which means your browser connects to Google's servers when pages load.
- If you book a consultation through our online scheduler, that scheduling provider receives the details you enter.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of MRC, our clients or others.
Cookies
This website uses only the cookies needed for it to work. If you sign in to the client resource library, a secure login cookie keeps you signed in. Our newsletter and scheduling providers may set their own cookies when you use their features. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though the resource library won't work without its login cookie.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email.
- Ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing simon@modeliresearch.com.
- Close your resource library account by contacting us.
How long we keep information
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, for our business records, or as required by law. Newsletter contacts are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
Security
This site is served over an encrypted connection, and we limit access to submitted information to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Children
This website is intended for professionals in clinical research. It is not directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Links to other websites
Our site may link to other websites, such as application forms or scheduling pages. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
